Can I have the TV interview questions in advance? The short answer is no.
Journalists don't like to give questions in advance. This isn't because they want to catch you out. They don't want you to over prepare which can lead to you looking and sounding wooden on air.
In live TV and radio news, they're unlikely to give you a list of questions because they can be changed by the presenter at the last moment. This could leave you stumped or confused if you'd prepared your answers in advance.
Tip! Before a live TV or radio interview a producer will call and ask you specific questions about a story, or discuss topics that are your area of expertise.
Treat this conversation as your rehearsal because these will generally be the same topics and question you will be asked about live on air.
